Runxin Manual Filter Control Valves for Sand and A/C Filter

Runxin manual filter control valve, as its name says, it change the working position by manually rotating the handle or hand wheel. Its handle is available in plastic and metal, and the handle can be rotated 180 degrees. Runxin manual filter control valve has wide ranges of models, which support filtering water production of 2–40 m3/h.

The installation method is top-mounted and side-mounted according to the water output and tank size. Runxin manual filter valve is mainly used in household sand filtration, carbon filtration and other systems, also can be used in swimming pool filtration, iron and manganese removal filtration or in the pre-filtration system for reverse osmosis treatment.

Working Process

Filter system is composed of multiport control valve, water inlet pipe, water outlet pipe, drain pipe, top strainer, riser pipe, filter tank, media, bottom strainer, etc. The product can produce three different fluid channels by relatively rotating the high-hardness and high-planarity ceramic moving disk and the high-planarity fixed disk fixed on the valve body, and can realize the functions of filtering, backwash, fast rinse.

  • Stage 1: Filter

    With the system running, the arrows on handle point to the filter position on the trim cover. Raw water enters into multiport control valve from inlet, passes through valve body from the upper part of valve core, enters into tank from the top strainer. The raw water is filtered after passing through media layer. Then the filtered water returns to riser pipe through bottom strainer, and flows out from outlet after passing through valve core.

  • Stage 2: Backwash

    When the system needs to be flushed, turn handle so that the arrow on handle points to the backwash position on the trim cover. At this time, the relative positions of the moving disk and the fixed disk are changed due to the shift fork driving the moving disk, so that the flow channel changes.

    Raw water enters multiport control valve from inlet, then flows into the riser pipe and bottom strainer, achieving the bottom of filter tank. Under the action of water flow, media is flushed. The trapped dirt is discharged from the drain after passing through the top strainer and valve core.

  • Stage 3: Fast Rinse

    Raw water enters multiport control valve from inlet, and achieving filter tank through valve core, valve body and top strainer. Under the action of water flow, the water flow downward the filter tank and the dirt caused by backwash raw water is removed through the bottom strainer and return to riser pipe, and discharge from drain via valve core.
