Installation and Filter Bag Replacement Steps for Bag-Type Stainless Steel Precision Filter

A bag-type stainless steel precision filter is a device used to support filter bags, which can remove suspended solids from fluids in various industrial processes. Installation

Cleaning gasket and compression groove

Install the support on the filter bag neck ring to press it down

Use the fixed bracket to press the filter basket and filter bag

Connect the filter cover to the filter housing

Filter Bag Replacement

• Close all valves at the inlet and outlet, and drain all liquids from the filter
• Open the pressure relief valve to ensure that the housing is not pressurized
• Remove the clamp (for clamp-on top housing) or loosen the bolts on the top of the housing (for bolt-fixed top housing)
• Remove the top of the outer casing
• Remove the fixed frame inside the top of the outer casing and take out the dirty filter bag
• Place the clean filter bag into the filter basket, making sure the filter bag goes straight down through the filter basket.
• Place the fixed frame inside the filter and press down on the filter basket and filter bag
• Cover the top of the outer casing with the top cover
• Reconnect the clamp (for clamp-top casing) and tighten; or tighten the bolts (for bolt-fixed top casing)
