Irrigation
Why Water Quality is Important to Agriculture?
Water resources are vital to the growth of crops. Not only is water needed for irrigation, but also for washing agricultural products and raising livestock. If the water quality is not up to standard, not only is the production of crops limited, resulting in reduced yields, but there is also a risk to the health of livestock and people.
In addition, water resources mainly come from groundwater, but groundwater is not inexhaustible. Due to rapid industrial development, groundwater layers can be depleted or polluted, so available freshwater resources are becoming increasingly scarce. All these are major obstacles to agricultural development.
To optimize water resources structure, we need adopt reasonable and effective agriculture water treatment solutions to transfer those waters (wells, amber, rivers or even the seawater) not suitable for agriculture into qualified waters.
