Precision filter housing, also called security filter housing, is a type of filter housing that is designed to hold filter bags or filter cartridges with different pore sizes, which can provide a basic level of filtration and protect downstream equipment from damage or fouling.

Security filter housings are typically used as a pre-treatment step to remove sediment, sand and other larger particles from the water before it enters more advanced treatment processes (UF system, NF system and RO system). They can also be used as a final filtration step to remove any remaining particles or contaminants before the water is distributed for use.

The precision/security filter housing is typically made of stainless steel materials, such as 304 or 316L, and offers a range of sizes and configurations to meet various flow rates and filtration requirements. Additionally, we can provide precision filter housings made of plastic and fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) according to your specifications.
