Bag-Type Stainless Steel Precision Filter Accommodates Up To 24 Filter Bags

Bag type stainless steel precision filter is a pressure filter composed of filter bag and reinforced metal basket, installed on the conveying pipeline to filter and remove impurities in the conveying medium, and protect the equipment on the pipeline from wear and blockage pressure. 1#, 2#, 3#, and 4# filter bags can be installed internally to meet different filtration requirements.

Working Principle

The industrial bag filter housing consists of a cylindrical body, usually made of 304 or 316 L stainless steel. This filter vessel can accommodate one or more filter bags depending on the flow rates. The liquid to be filtered arrives from the top of the filter into the bag. This filter bag is supported by a restrainer basket that handles the mechanical loads. The fluid passes through the filter bag leaving the impurities inside of it. Then, the liquid comes out through the bottom nozzle of the filter housing, free of impurities.

During filtration, the pressure upstream gradually increases until the bag is completely clogged. It is then necessary to stop the installation or by passing to another filter body via a valve. Simply open the cover and replace the filter bag.

Structure

  1. Exhaust Valve: Releases gas accumulated inside the filter bag to ensure the normal operation and effective filtration of the filtration system
  2. Pressure Gauge: Monitors the internal pressure of the filter and the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet, indicating whether the filter bag needs to be replaced
  3. Top cover: Ensure that the filter bag and liquid are in a closed state, providing necessary strength and rigidity to the overall structure
  4. Bolts: Usually used in conjunction with nuts to fix the top cover of the filter to the housing, ensuring a tight seal between the two and using washers to improve sealing performance and disperse pressure
  5. Sealing ring: Connects the top cover to the housing to prevent liquid leakage from the filter
  6. Bag holder: Provide support and pressure to ensure that the filter bag maintains its shape and tight fit during the filtration process
  7. O-ring seal: Connect the bottom of the filter bag to the bag holder, serving as a seal to prevent leakage
  8. Filter bag: Filter and separate solid particles, impurities, pollutants, or other suspended substances in the fluid
  9. Mesh basket: Support and protect the filter bag, while providing uniform fluid distribution for efficient filtration
