UPVC filter housing is an important component that helps secure the filtration system and protect the filter media. The lid is typically designed to fit securely onto the housing body and provide easy access for filter replacement and maintenance. To guarantee the easy and fast replacement and maintenance of the UPVC filter housing, we provide a replace tool for customers.
Several days ago, a customer provided feedback that there is a problem of the lid:
There are two holes in the filter lid for venting and pressure gauge, and they are of the same size and can be interchanged. But the removal tool is located directly above the two holes, the installation holes will be blocked when using the tool, and the gauge and removal tool cannot be used at the same time. When replace bags or repair the filter housing, the pressure gauge needs to be removed first before removing the lid, which makes the replacement and maintenance very troublesome and time-consuming. They asked if there is a solution to this issue.

We actively communicated with the engineers and made a decision: to modify the lid design and adjust the direction of the handling hole so that the handling holes are perpendicular to the position of the pressure gauge and pressure relief. This way, the problem of interference between the pressure gauge and the disassembly rod can be avoided.
After improvement, the replacement and maintenance steps have been reduced from five steps (Disassemble pressure gauge → remove lid → replace filter bag → install lid → install pressure gauge) to three steps (Remove Lid → Replace Filter Bag → Install Lid), greatly saving installation time and labor costs, and reducing downtime.
Besides, customers can save lots of labor and time cost. It can reduce down-time. And the customer gives a positive feedback.
