When dealing with malfunctions, always start with the simplest possible causes and gradually eliminate them until the root cause is found. Solenoid Valve Cannot Open

Possible Reasons Solution
Coil has no power Ensure that the valve is normally open or normally closed, and use a voltmeter to measure the voltage at both ends of the coil.
Incorrect voltage/frequency Ensure that the power supply matches the valve specifications, and measure the voltage at both ends of the coil.
Coil is burned out Inspect the burned coil and replace it promptly.
Excessive pressure difference Check the pressure difference at both ends of the valve and compare it with the valve specifications. The pressure difference can be reduced by lowering the input pressure.
Low differential pressure Check the valve specifications. Pilot-operated solenoid valves require a very small differential pressure to operate properly.
Valve damage or deformation Replace the solenoid valve
Dirt on the diaphragm Clean the diaphragm. If necessary, replace damaged components.
Contaminated valve seat or valve Clean the valve. If necessary, replace damaged components.
Corrosion (rust) Replace damaged components

Coil short circuit Check if other installed parts may be short-circuited. Check the connection of the coil and replace it if any errors are found. Pay attention to the installation of the coil and ensure that there is no water flow or dripping at the connection.
The plunger moves with high friction (due to dirt, damage, or bending) Replace the damaged parts and clean the dirt.
The medium temperature is too high Check the valve specifications. If necessary, replace the valve with a suitable model.
The ambient temperature is too high Move the valve to a cooler environment. Check the valve specifications and increase ventilation around the coil and valve.
