The Design of the Basket Filter is Simple and Easy to Install

The main body material of basket filter is carbon steel or stainless steel. It is composed of manifold, main pipe, filter basket, flange cover, and fasteners. When the fluid enters the filter basket through the main pipe, solid impurities are trapped in the filter basket, while the clean fluid is discharged through the outlet of the filter. When cleaning is needed, unscrew the drain valve at the bottom, drain the fluid remove the flange cover, and take out the filter basket. After cleaning, reinstall it, making it extremely convenient to use and maintain.

Selection principle

Inlet and Outlet Diameter. In principle, the inlet and outlet diameters of the filter should not be smaller than the inlet diameter of the corresponding pump, generally matching the diameter of the inlet pipeline.
Nominal Pressure. Determine the pressure rating of the filter based on the highest pressure that may occur in the filter pipeline.
Selection of aperture. Primarily consider the particle size of impurities to be intercepted, which is determined based on the requirements of the medium flow process.
Filter Material. The material of the filter is generally selected to be the same as the material of the connected process pipeline. For different service conditions, consider selecting a filter made of cast iron, carbon steel, low-alloy steel, or stainless steel.
