High Pressure RO Pump for Low Viscosity and Corrosive Fluids

The high pressure RO pump is a plunger-type volumetric pump specifically designed for seawater desalination. It employs a compact structure and simplified design that eliminates the need for a frame or belt drive, allowing for both horizontal and vertical installation, making it suitable for limited spaces. This pump delivers a constant flow rate of liquid during each working cycle, ensuring that desalination facilities receive a stable and reliable supply of seawater. Its modular design supports the operation of multiple pumps in series, providing uninterrupted water supply and offering a sustainable solution for seawater desalination systems. Working Principle

The high pressure RO pump creates periodic volume changes in the pump chamber through the linear motion of a reciprocating plunger, enabling the suction and discharge of liquid. When the main shaft rotates, the plunger within the cylinder reciprocates under the action of the inclined disk. When the plunger moves outward, the volume of the plunger chamber increases, creating a negative pressure that draws in low-pressure water through the inlet of the distribution plate (blue section); When the plunger moves inward, the chamber volume decreases, water is pressurized and delivered through the outlet of the distribution plate to the RO membrane system (red section) to provide sufficient pressure to push water molecules through the membrane while retaining salts and contaminants, thus achieving the desalination process.
