Reverse Osmosis Flocculants Improve Operational Efficiency

PO-300 Reverse Osmosis Flocculants are high molecular weight flocculants composed of precision-treated inorganic salts and water-soluble high molecular weight polymers. They are easily soluble in water, do not form gels, have good hydrolytic stability, and are suitable for a wide range of water qualities without being affected by low water temperatures. They help improve the removal of organic colloids, inorganic particles, and organic solutes by multimedia filters, greatly reducing the occurrence of fouling on the surface of reverse osmosis membranes. They effectively improve the operational efficiency of reverse osmosis systems, require small dosages, form large and compact flocs, have fast settling speeds, produce minimal sludge, are non-toxic, and have high safety. They can be applied in the purification process of drinking water and are widely used in various wastewater treatment processes.

Features
  • Quickly forms flocs, fast coagulation speed, dense and solid coagulation, good settling ability
  • Soluble in water, does not form gel, good hydrolytic stability
  • Non-toxic, harmless, environmentally friendly, does not increase salinity or change pH value of water
  • Wide range of adaptability to water pH
Usage Method
  • Dosage point: In order to achieve maximum efficiency, it is best to add PO-300 before the sand filter.
  • Dosage: The flocculant dosage should be calculated based on the influent turbidity, suspended solids, and colloidal content. After treatment, the SDI value (pollution index) can be less than 3, the residual turbidity (NTU) is generally around 0.067, the removal rate is generally about 80%, and a large amount of sludge can be reduced. The recommended dosage is 2-10 ppm. Please consult our technical engineer to determine the dosage point and dosage based on your specific system conditions. In some systems, specific dosage points and injection equipment are necessary.
  • Dilution: When using, it is recommended to prepare a 10% to 20% concentration aqueous solution. It is best to use neutral water without salt impurities for preparation (the stirring speed of the dissolving tank should not be too high).
