Reverse Osmosis Cleaning Agents Ensures Clean and Tidy Membranes

Reverse osmosis cleaning agents are chemicals used to clean reverse osmosis membranes. They can remove contaminants and deposits on the membrane surface and restore the membrane's filtration performance. Reverse osmosis cleaning agents are divided into alkaline cleaning agents and acidic cleaning agents. PO-500 reverse osmosis cleaning agent is an acidic composite liquid agent that has strong solubility for inorganic salts such as CaCO3, CaSO4, BaSO4, and various metal oxides. PO-511 reverse osmosis cleaning agent is an alkaline composite liquid agent that has strong permeability and solubility for sludge, organic matter, oil, microorganisms, viscous substances, and non-acid soluble substances. They are suitable for chemical cleaning of various reverse osmosis membrane elements, without causing any damage to the reverse osmosis membrane and without generating secondary sediment pollution during the cleaning process.

Features
  • Wide Applicability: Reverse Osmosis Cleaning Agents are a type of composite liquid agent suitable for the chemical cleaning of CA and TFC series reverse osmosis membrane elements.
  • Efficient Cleaning: Reverse osmosis cleaning agents can effectively remove fouling, deposits, and organic matter from the membrane surface, restoring membrane performance and flux.
  • No Secondary Pollution: Reverse osmosis membranes do not generate secondary precipitate pollution during the cleaning process, shortening the workflow.
Usage
  • Dosage point: Reverse osmosis cleaning agents should be used in conjunction with membrane cleaning equipment provided by the membrane system manufacturer. If such equipment is not available, please contact our technical engineer to manufacture or obtain a membrane cleaning device.
  • Dosage: Our technical engineer will determine the optimal dosage based on the actual conditions of your system, typically 2% to 5% of the total volume of the cleaning system, including cleaning tanks, connecting pipes, filters, pressure vessels, and membranes.
  • Dilution: The cleaning agent must be diluted in the cleaning tank before entering the membrane system. It is recommended to dilute it to a concentration of 2% (acidic cleaning agent pH adjusted to 2-3, alkaline cleaning agent pH adjusted to 10–11), that is, 1 kilogram of cleaning agent is mixed with 49 kilograms of high-quality RO product water to prepare the cleaning solution.
