Installation and Disassembly Methods for pH/ORP Instrument

Installation & Precautions
Installed pH/ORP instrument and sensor

Proper installation of pH/ORP instruments can ensure the accuracy and reliability of measurement results, provide protection for the instrument, and offer more convenient operation and maintenance. Correct disassembly can ensure instrument safety, protect equipment from damage, and allow for re-installation. Correct installation and disassembly are equally important as they have a direct impact on the instrument's performance and lifespan. We have summarized a list of precautions for installation and disassembly for your reference.

Installation and Disassembly of Instruments

  • Install the instrument into the pre-drilled panel (the panel cutout dimensions of 3500 series instrument are 44 mm × 92 mm, and for the 5500 and 8500 series, the dimensions are 91 mm × 91 mm).
  • Push the two quick-fixing clips forward from both sides of the instrument along the groove to secure the instrument.
  • When the meter is disassembled, the retaining clip is drawn out in the backward and outward direction to remove the meter.

Main Influence Factors

Productivity and salt rejection are key parameters in the reverse osmosis process. They are intrinsic properties to certain system conditions. Meanwhile, the productivity and salt rejection of the membrane system are mainly subject to feed temperature, feed pressure, feed TDS, feed pH value and recovery.
