Runxin Manual Softening Valves for Water Softening

Runxin Manual softening control valve is a category of manual control valves. It can realize softening, regeneration, backwash, fast rinse and brine process by manually rotating the handle or the handwheel.

Runxin manual softener control valve can be used in residential softening system, reverse osmosis pretreatment water softener, boiler feed water softening system and ion exchange equipment.

Working Process
  • Stage 1: RUN (Softening)

    Switch the button on run position, the system start to soften. The raw water enters the control valve from water inlet and enters the FRP tank and resin layer through the top distributor, the softened water is flow along the center pipe and drainage from the outlet. The softening process is complete.

  • Stage 2: Backwash

    When the softening performance cannot achieve requirements, the backwash station starts. Switch the button on backwash position. The raw water enters the control valve from water inlet and enters the FRP tanks along the enter pipe and bottom distributor to eliminate the resin impurities. Then the water is discharged from the discharge port.

  • Stage 3: Regenerate

    When the backwash is completed, achieve, the generation station starts. Switch the button on generate position, the raw water enters the control valve from water inlet and enters the brine ejector. The waters flows towards the ejector outlet in a fast speed and produce negative pressure. The brine is drawn into the tanks and flows through the resin layer along the central pipe and bottom distributor to achieve resin regeneration. Then rare water is discharge from the discharge port.

  • Stage 4: Slow Wash

    Switch the button to the slow wash station. The brine ball valve closed, raw water enters control valve from inlet and enters the tanks through ejector and continue to slow wash the resin layer along the central pipe and bottom distributor to eliminate the resin impurities and brine. Then the water is discharged from the discharge port.

  • Stage 5: Wash

    Raw water enters control valve from inlet and enters the tanks through top distributor and flows towards the resin layer with a large mount of water to thoroughly flush the resin layer and residual brine, then the impurities and residual brine will be discharge out from the discharge port.

  • Stage 6: Filling water

    Switch the button to the filling water station. Raw water enters control valve through inlet and brine ball valve opened at the same time. The water enters the brine tank and filling water. When completing filling, it will enters the running (softening) station again.
